Overview. DOC PROGRAM allows foreign companies to organize temporary work - internship for potential Russian representatives (agents, distributors, dealers, etc.) in company’s residential places. The aim of the program is to facilitate meeting of managers and to enable them to recognize each other in real working environment. DOC PROGRAM opens Russian market through direct communication and lowers investment risks. Purpose. DOC DOC PROGRAM has been set up by co-operation with Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support companies in their search of distribution opportunities in Ural region. DOC PROGRAM helps U.S./E.U. companies to find entrepreneurs/specialists/companies for making sure and sound steps into Russian market. The program allows U.S./E.U. companies to choose the right partner/employee and to begin the work in a convenient form of internship. After that DOC PROGRAM creates favorable environment for implementation of distribution/dealer/investment projects in Ural region. At the moment applications to join DOC PROGRAM are in the pipeline from different regions of the U.S./E.U. and Ural. Communication of DOC PROGRAM administration with U.S./E.U. companies and Russian participants will be carried out via e-mail, fax and phone. The final decision of consideration is automatically communicated to the applicant.
Method. DOC PROGRAM offers the internship/temporary employment as the way of assessing the participant's learning ability and other personal qualities needed for gaining sufficient knowledge of the U.S./E.U. Company's products and pushing them successfully into the Russian market. DOC PROGRAM puts forward further support of the trainees and U.S./E.U. companies in implementation of their projects in Ural region.
Terms of payment. Trainees selected by the U.S./E.U. Companies for the DOC PROGRAM pay registration fee ($20). DOC PROGRAM covers organizational costs, additional language preparation, traveling expenses, insurance fee and in some cases accommodation costs. The U.S./E.U. Company pays a minimum salary to the trainee that is not below living standards of the residential area. (It is expected that the salary covers minimal living expenses for house, food and transport.)
The period of the internship/temporary work is 3-6 months.
